Pharmacist stigma via examination of social distance preference and negative attitudes toward persons who misuse opioids is prevalent and may lower the quality of care provided to patients. Few studies have previously extended beyond the immediate post-intervention period to examine stigma change. This longitudinal cohort study utilized a pre-survey administered before the training program, a post-survey immediately upon completion of the training program, and a delayed post-survey, administered 12 months after the training program. Co-primary outcomes were changes in social distance scale (SDS) total score from baseline to post-survey and from baseline to 12 months. Secondary outcomes included change in SDS question scores and change in negative attitudes. One hundred eighty-seven of the 1211 eligible pharmacists in the state completed the training. Matched responses of forty-four pharmacists who completed all three surveys were examined. The mean total SDS score was significantly lower in the immediate post-training survey than the pre-training mean (14.75 16.57,  = .000). The 12 months mean total SDS score was also significantly lower than the pre-training mean (15.32 16.57,  = .017). Significant changes in negative attitudes from baseline to post-survey and from baseline to 12 months were seen. Stigma reduction components integrated into opioid training decreased pharmacist social distance preference and negative attitudes toward patients who misuse opioids immediately after the training and, most notably, were sustained for 12 months.

The ability to assess and manage corporate credit risk enables financial institutions and investors to mitigate risk, enhance the precision of their decision-making, and adapt their strategies in a prompt and effective manner. The growing quantity of data and the increasing complexity of indicators have rendered traditional machine learning methods ineffective in enhancing the accuracy of credit risk assessment. Consequently, academics have begun to explore the potential of models based on deep learning.

Background: Previous studies have found that psychotic disorders are among the most stigmatized mental disorders. Of note, virtual reality (VR) interventions have been associated with improvements in attitudes and empathy and reduced stigma toward individuals with psychotic disorders, especially among undergraduates, but this has not been examined among mental health care professionals.

Objective: We aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of a newly developed VR intervention for mental health care professionals to improve attitudes and empathy and reduce stigma toward people with psychotic disorders.

Theorists across all fields of psychology consider goals crucial for human action control. Still, the question of how precisely goals are represented in the cognitive system is rarely addressed. Here, we explore the idea that goals are represented as distributed patterns of activation that coexist within continuous mental spaces.

The factors leading to mine water inrush accidents are mainly sources of water, water channels, and intensity of water inrush. Mine water rush depends mostly on whether damage leads to the overlying strata of the working face penetrating the overlying aquifer. There is therefore a need to characterize how the overlying strata of the coal seam roof fails and the development height of the water-conducting fracture zone during a roof water inrush incident.
