Background: Clear cell ovarian carcinoma (CCOC) is a type of epithelial ovarian cancer, representing 5-11% of ovarian cancers. CCOCs tend to occur in the fifth to seventh decades of life, with only 10% of cases occurring in the fourth decade. On the other side, papillary thyroid carcinoma is the most common histology type of thyroid carcinoma and is associated with locoregional spread.

Objectives: This study aims to develop a nomogram to predict high-volume (> 5) lymph node metastases (HVLNM) in papillary thyroid carcinoma concomitant with Hashimoto's thyroiditis by combining ultrasound with clinicopathologic data.
Materials And Methods: The study reviewed 187 patients diagnosed with papillary thyroid cancer (PTC) concomitant with Hashimoto's thyroiditis from the First People's Hospital of Kunshan between March 2018 and December 2022. These patients underwent preoperative ultrasound and postoperative examinations.

Background: Occult papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) refers to the PTC accidentally found due to its occult lesions. Classic, as the most common subtype of PTC, is usually considered to have a low degree of malignancy and a favorable prognosis. Currently, the American Thyroid Association Management Guidelines adopted active surveillance (AS) as an alternative to immediate surgery in some low-risk PTC patients with less than 1 cm in diameter.

This study aims to establish and validate an ultrasound radiomics nomogram for preoperative prediction of central lymph node metastasis in papillary thyroid microcarcinoma (PTMC) before operation. A retrospective analysis conducted on ultrasonic images and clinical features derived from 288 PTMC patients, who were divided into training cohorts ( = 201) and validating cohorts ( = 87) in a ratio of 7:3 base on the principle of random allocation. Radiomics features were extracted from the PTMC patients after ultrasonic examination, followed by dimension reduction and characteristic selection to construct the radiomics score (Radscore) using LASSO regression analysis.

Background: The importance of parathyroid gland preservation in thyroid surgery has been well recognized; however, the rapid identification of the parathyroid gland, particularly the inferior parathyroid gland (IPG), remains challenging. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of retrograde inferior parathyroid protection technique (RIPPT) based on thymus preservation.
Methods: A total of 236 patients were enrolled in this study between August 2019 and December 2020.
