Telescope array (TA) experiment has recorded Abbasi et al. (Phys Lett A 381(32):2565-2572, 10.1016/j.physleta.2017.06.022, 2017), Okuda (J Phys Conf Ser 1181:012067, 10.1088/1742-6596/1181/1/012067, 2019) several short time bursts of air shower like events. These bursts are very distinct from conventional single showers, and are found to be strongly correlated with lightnings. In our previous work Zhitnitsky (J Phys G 48(6):065201, 10.1088/1361-6471/abd457, arXiv:2008.04325 [hep-ph], 2021) we proposed that these bursts represent the direct manifestation of the dark matter (DM) annihilation events within the so-called axion quark nugget (AQN) model. In the present work we suggest to test this proposal to search for the radio signals in frequency band (0.5-200) MHz which must be synchronized with the TA bursts. We argued that the conventional lightning-induced radio emission can be easily discriminated from the AQN-induced radio pulses discussed in this work.

In this paper, we present a method based on the conjugate image principle and micro-nano optics to detect tilt aberrations of a phased fiber laser array system. A co-aperture optics system was adapted to detect the tilt aberrations of a seven-element phased fiber laser array system simultaneously. A Kepler telescope was designed to construct the conjugate relation between the exit pupil of a fiber optic laser array system and a microlens array and also to match the size of the seven beams and the microlens array.

The study of transient and variable events, including novae, active galactic nuclei, and black hole binaries, has historically been a fruitful path for elucidating the evolutionary mechanisms of our universe. The study of such events in the millimeter and submillimeter is, however, still in its infancy. Submillimeter observations probe a variety of materials, such as optically thick dust, which are hard to study in other wavelengths.

The Simons Observatory (SO) is a cosmic microwave background (CMB) experiment located in the Atacama Desert in Chile that will make precise temperature and polarization measurements over six spectral bands ranging from 27 to 285 GHz. Three small aperture telescopes (SATs) and one large aperture telescope (LAT) will house 60,000 detectors and cover angular scales between one arcminute and tens of degrees. We present the performance of the dichroic, low-frequency (LF) lenslet-coupled sinuous antenna transition-edge sensor (TES) bolometer arrays with bands centered at 27 and 39 GHz.

The front-end S-shaped microlens array improves the uniformity of UV spatial frequency sampling, increasing the average peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR) and structure similarity index measure (SSIM) by approximately 5 dB and 0.16, respectively.
