In order to reveal the pollution and risk level of phthalic acid esters (PAEs) in Qiandao Lake, six types of PAEs in 17 sampling points (in Qiandao Lake and its inflowing rivers) in dry and wet seasons were detected. The results showed that six types of PAEs were detected in both dry and wet seasons, with the concentrations of 0.98-5.33 μg·L (average concentration 2.63 μg·L) in the dry season and 3.22-17.88 μg·L (average concentration 7.99 μg·L) in the wet season. In terms of the detection rate and concentration of each monomer PAEs, DiBP, DBP, and DEHP were the main PAEs components in the water body. The measured value of DBP at 10 sampling points and its average mass concentration in the wet season were higher than the national standard (3 μg·L). Principal component analysis indicated that the main sources of PAEs were personal care products, plastics, and domestic waste. The pollution level of PAEs in Qiandao Lake was at a high level at home and abroad. The health risk assessment results in Qiandao Lake showed that the non-carcinogenic risk index of PAEs in the study area was less than 1, which would not produce non-carcinogenic risks to the human body. The carcinogenic risk index of children exceeded 10 at some points, indicating that it may pose carcinogenic risks to children, to which more attention should be paid.

Myocardial ischemia-reperfusion (I/R) injury caused by revascularization treatment is the leading cause of cardiac damage aggravation in ischemic heart disease. Increasing evidence has unraveled the crucial role of pyroptosis in myocardial I/R injury. Of note, lactylation has been validated to be participated in modulating pyroptosis.

Silver carp (Hypophthalmichthys molitrix) can filter the carbon in the food taken up by phytoplankton and plays an important role in carbon fixation. In this study, the faeces of silver carp, the dominant fish species in Qiandao Lake, China, were collected and subjected to a closed incubation and transformation experiment for three months. The physical and chemical indices of water and sediment mixture, carbon metabolic enzyme activity, and microbial sequences were analyzed to identify the key microbial strains that affect carbon transformation as well as the main factors influencing carbon transformation.

Water quality predicted accuracy is beneficial to river ecological management and water pollution prevention. Owing to water quality data has the characteristics of nonlinearity and instability, it is difficult to predict the change of water quality. This paper proposes a hybrid water quality prediction model based on variational mode decomposition optimized by the sparrow search algorithm (SSA-VMD) and bidirectional gated recursive unit (BiGRU).

The mechanism by which Y. ruckeri infection induces enteritis in Chinese sturgeon remains unclear, and the efficacy of drug prevention and control measures is not only poor but also plagued with numerous issues. We conducted transcriptomic and 16 S rRNA sequencing analyses to examine the differences in the intestinal tract of hybrid sturgeon before and after Y.
