Objectives: This study was to evaluate the application of automatic measurement based on convolutional neural network (CNN) technology in intracavitary ultrasound cine of anterior pelvic.

Methods: A total of 500 patients who underwent pelvic floor ultrasound examination at Peking University Shenzhen Hospital from July 2021 to February 2022 were retrospectively retrieved by the picture archiving and communication system (PACS) system, and 300 cases were used as a training set. The training set was labeled by three experienced ultrasound physicians to train CNN models and develop an automatic measurement software.

Objectives: Vaginal bleeding is a common symptom of uterine intracavitary pathologies in perimenopausal and postmenopausal women, which leads to anemia. However, findings regarding the relationship between hemoglobin level and sonographic parameters remain limited. The aim of this study was (1) to investigate the histopathological findings of uterine intracavitary pathologies, hemoglobin concentrations and basic sonographic parameters, and (2) to evaluate their correlation among Vietnamese women with perimenopausal and postmenopausal bleeding.

Article Synopsis
  • The study investigates the use of ultrasound-guided tip navigation combined with intracavitary electrocardiogram (ECG) for confirming the placement of peripherally inserted central catheters (PICCs) in cancer patients.
  • Data were collected from 1727 patients who underwent this combined method in 2020, comparing results to a control group from 2019 that used only ECG.
  • The results showed that the ECG + US group had a significantly higher rate of optimal catheter tip placement and lower rates of misplacement compared to the ECG-only group, indicating that this method is both accurate and safe for clinical use.

: We were the first to combine IETA ultrasonic features with GI-RADS and tumor biomarkers for the surveillance of endometrial carcinoma. The aim was to evaluate the efficacy of single IETA ultrasonography GI-RADS classification and combined tumor biomarkers in differentiating benign and malignant lesions in the uterine cavity and endometrium. A total of 497 patients with intrauterine and endometrial lesions who had been treated surgically between January 2017 and December 2021 were enrolled; all of them had undergone ultrasound examinations before surgery.

Objective: To explore the mechanism of intracavitary physiotherapy combined with acupuncture to improve the receptivity of thin endometrium.

Methods: From October 2020 to April 2021, 40 patients diagnosed with thin endometrium and preparing for hormone replacement cycle freeze-thaw embryo transfer in our centre for Reproduction were included, 40 patients were randomized to treatment group and control group. 20 patients with normal endometrium during the same period were selected as the normal group.
