IgG4-releated disease is systemic fibroinflammatory disease characterized by infiltration of IgG4-positive plasma cells in the affected tissue. Mediastinal fibrosis, which is also known as fibrosing mediastinitis, is a rare form of IgG4-releated disease. We present a case of mediastinal and retroperitoneal fibrosis in 52-year-old man who was detected with increased radiopharmaceutical uptake in 18F-FDG PET/CT imaging.

F-FDG PET/CT findings in nevoid basal cell carcinoma syndrome: a systematic review and a new case report.

Background: To demonstrate and analyze the F-FDG positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) findings in this rare nevoid basal cell carcinoma syndrome (NBCCS).

Case Presentation: A 71-year-old woman with the left invasive breast cancer was treated with hormone therapy for six months and underwent the F-FDG PET/CT examination for efficacy evaluation. F-FDG PET/CT revealed the improvement after treatment and other unexpected findings, including multiple nodules on the skin with F-FDG uptake, bone expansion of cystic lesions in the bilateral ribs, ectopic calcifications and dilated right ureter.

Background: Urethral malignant melanoma is an uncommon and aggressive malignancy, frequently diagnosed at an advanced stage, posing diagnostic and therapeutic challenges.

Case Presentation: We present the case of a 74-year-old North African female diagnosed with primary metastatic urethral melanoma. Initial staging included a thorough physical examination, pelvic MRI, and whole-body CT scan, initially showing no signs of distant metastasis.

We describe the case of an unvaccinated 21-year-old Japanese male who experienced psychotic symptoms attributed to encephalopathy, known as post-acute COVID-19 syndrome (PACS). One week after his discharge following the remission of a SARS-CoV-2 infection, he experienced hyperactive delirium and unexpected movements of his limbs. As COVID-19-associated encephalopathy was suspected as a cause of the psychotic symptoms, he was admitted to the Department of Neurology.
