Activation cross sections of alpha-particle-induced reactions on natural vanadium were measured. The production cross sections of Mn, Cr, V, and Sc were determined up to 50 MeV. The stacked-foil activation technique and high-resolution gamma-ray spectrometry were used. The experimental results were compared with previous experimental data and theoretical calculations in the TENDL-2019 library. The physical yield of the medical radionuclide Mn was derived from the measured cross sections.

The dataset [1] hosts pedological info and images of the lands -locally known as - of the outcropping gypsiferous core of the Barbastro-Balaguer anticline (Fig. 1). It stands out in the landscape for the linear reliefs due to outcrops of dipping strata with differential resistance to erosion, and also because of its whitish color (Fig.

Background: This study investigates the prevalence and intensity of parasitic infections in animal fecal samples collected from Sitio Ibayo, San Mateo, Rizal, Philippines, a suburban community considered a potential sentinel site for zoonotic disease surveillance.

Methods: Using cross-sectional sampling, 132 animal fecal samples were collected in the area exhaustively. Samples were processed through direct smear with saline solution and Lugol's iodine and flotation technique using mini- and fill-FLOTAC.

The French Agency for Food, Environmental and Occupational Health & Safety (Anses) has set up a multidisciplinary working group (WG) to develop an innovative One Health approach for the monitoring and evaluation of an integrated vector management system (IVMS) on a territorial scale. Four existing evaluation guidelines and methods have been combined into a semi-quantitative evaluation approach that takes into account all the dimensions of an integrated process. We propose a set of 34 criteria divided into three sections (objectives and management, implementation, integration) that correspond to the main functional components of an IVMS.

Introduction: Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is prevalent in Pakistan, necessitating accurate diagnostic methods. This study evaluates the CKD-EPI 2009, CKD-EPI 2021, CKD-EPI Pak, MDRD, and EKFC equations against creatinine clearance (CrCl) to determine their diagnostic accuracy for CKD in the Pakistani population.

Methods: n a retrospective cross-sectional study, data from 2,310 participants aged 18-70 were analyzed at The Aga Khan University in Karachi.

Introduction: The success of flu vaccination depends primarily on the willingness of health care workers (HCWs) to be vaccinated. To identify barriers and drivers to vaccination, an online survey among employees and students of a university hospital was performed to develop a local strategy to increase the vaccination willingness in line with the WHO recommendation.

Method: A cross-sectional, anonymous, self-administered online survey was performed among HCWs, other staff, trainees and students of the Greifswald University Hospital between 17.
