Primary lymphoma of the liver is an extremely rare entity; only eight cases have been reported in the literature. We treated a 34-year-old man with primary hepatic lymphoma by right hepatic lobectomy, including right hemicolectomy the nephrectomy. The histological diagnosis was a small cell diffuse histiocytic lymphoma. Details of this case plus that of others in the literature are described in this report.

Background: Operative mortality for high-grade liver injury (HGLI) remains 42% to 66%, with near-universal mortality after retrohepatic caval injury. The objective of this study was to evaluate mortality and complications of operative and nonoperative management (OM and NOM) of HGLI at our institution, characterized by a trauma surgery-liver surgery collaborative approach to trauma care.
Methods: This was an observational cohort study of adult patients (age ≥16) with HGLI (The American Association for Surgery of Trauma (AAST) grades IV and V) admitted to an urban level I trauma center from January 2010 to November 2021.

A 9-year-old spayed female mixed breed dog weighing 6.8 kg with a history of previous splenectomy for hemangiosarcoma 4 years earlier was referred for a hepatic mass lesion. Although the dog did not have a clinical sign, a computed tomography revealed a solitary mass in the left medial lobe of the liver.

Hepatoblastoma is a rare pediatric cancer. Hepatoblastoma typically presents asymptomatically with an enlarging abdominal mass but can be associated with paraneoplastic secretion of beta-gonadotropin leading it to present like peripheral precocious puberty. This case highlights a rare initial presentation of hepatoblastoma as precocious puberty in a two-year-old patient who presented with persistent abdominal and genital pain.
