Background: The majority of the patients with a solitary fibrous tumor (SFT) of the pleura are asymptomatic, and rupture of an SFT with hemothorax is rare.
Case Presentation: A 48-year-old man was taken by ambulance to our hospital because of sudden onset of left chest pain. Two months before the referral, a tumor was detected in the left upper lobe of the lung by screening computed tomography at another hospital, and further observation was recommended, because the tumor was suspected to be benign.

Background: Spontaneous hemopneumothorax is a rare condition that can be life-threatening if not promptly diagnosed and treated. We report a case of early treatment with transcatheter arterial embolization and video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery.
Case Presentation: A 19-year-old Japanese male was diagnosed with left pneumothorax and underwent chest tube drainage.

Osteochondroma is the most common benign bone tumor. It can be classified as isolated or multiple. While the majority of osteochondromas are asymptomatic and found incidentally, they can become symptomatic during adolescence or adulthood due to mechanical irritation, nerve compression, spinal cord compression, or vascular injury.

Pleural endometriosis is a rare manifestation of endometriosis that usually presents with catamenial symptoms, with or without complications. Here, we present a case of incidentally discovered pleural involvement of endometriosis in an asymptomatic young female. Pleurocentesis revealed bloody exudative pleural effusion with lymphocytic predominance.

Tracheobronchial ruptures caused by blunt chest trauma are rarely encountered but may be life-threatening. It is even rarer when the rupture is in the right middle lobe bronchus. Here we present a case of incomplete laceration of the right middle lobe bronchus after blunt trauma, which could easily be overlooked because of the absence of obvious symptoms.
