Background: Calcaneal apophysitis is an overuse injury in pediatric patients that causes heel pain and reduction in function. The aim of this study is to explore this condition and offer medical insight into its presentation and symptomatology, along with current treatment options.
Methods: We explored PubMed/Medline for studies involving calcaneal apophysitis in pediatric patients.

Background: Recurrence remains the main challenge in the treatment of clubfoot. The primary goal of this study is to determine if ultrasound measurements are associated with recurrence after successful management with the Ponseti method. Furthermore, other factors are identified which can be associated with recurrence of the deformity.

Purpose: To validate the predictive power and reliability of a novel quasi-automatic method to calculate the severity index of adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (AIS).
Methods: Fifty-five AIS patients were prospectively included (age 10-15, Cobb 16° ± 4°). Patients underwent low-dose biplanar X-rays, and a novel fast method for 3D reconstruction of the spine was performed.
