Objective: The aim of the Randomized Clinical Trial (RCT) study was to determine the effect of Group Walking Program (GWP) on social physique anxiety (SPA) and the risk of Eating Disorders (EDs) in aged women.
Methods: 70 young-old women with medical records in Sari-Iran health centers were selected by a multi-stage sampling. They obtained score of 15 or more from SPA Scale (SPAS), a score of 20 or more from Eating Attitude Test (EAT-26). The group walking lasted eight weeks. 70 young-old women with medical records in Sari-Iran health centers were selected by a multi-stage sampling. They obtained score of 15 or more from SPA Scale (SPAS), a score of 20 or more from Eating Attitude Test (EAT-26). The group walking lasted eight weeks. To compare differences in EDs and SPA at post-test, analysis of Covariance was used.
Results: The results showed significant differences in the mean score of SPA (P = 0.01), EDs (P < 0.001), and EDs subscales between the groups.
Conclusion: The GWP can be used as an easy and affordable solution to reduce SPA and EDs in the aged women.

Introduction: Marathon running has become increasingly popular among amateur athletes, many of whom maintain speeds of 8-9 km/h. However, existing methods for estimating oxygen consumption (VO) during running and walking-such as the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) equations and commercial activity monitors-often lack accuracy and transparency. This study introduces the Hata-Yanagiya Physical Activity Calculation (HYPAC) system, a novel approach for estimating VO using Global Positioning System (GPS) and map data.

Purpose: Pelvic and hip motion are pivotal in maintaining postural control and energy efficient gait. An insight into influence of age and gender on the coupled motion of hip and pelvis in gait-cycle will guide clinical rehabilitation strategies and pertinent technology-design for specific age-groups. Therefore, present study evaluated pelvic and hip-joint gait kinematics in healthy females and males across adult-hood.

Objective: To investigate the impact of multidisciplinary team (MDT) intervention for early mobilization (EM) of patients with aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage (aSAH) in the intensive care unit (ICU).
Methods: A retrospective uncontrolled before-after observational study was conducted to assess patient outcomes before and after introducing MDT in the stroke care unit (SCU). Participants admitted to the SCU from April 2017 to September 2023 were categorized into conventional (April 2017 to June 2020) and MDT (July 2020 to September 2023) groups.

Scientific research on forest therapy's preventive medical and mental health effects has advanced, but the need for clear evidence for practical applications remains. We conducted an unblinded randomized controlled trial involving healthy men aged 40-70 to compare the physiological and psychological effects of forest and urban walking. Eighty-four participants were randomly assigned to either the forest or urban group, with 78 completing 90-min walks and analysis.
