Blázquez-Salcedo et al. [Phys. Rev. Lett. 126, 101102 (2021)PRLTAO0031-900710.1103/PhysRevLett.126.101102] obtained asymptotically flat traversable wormhole solutions in the Einstein-Dirac-Maxwell theory without using phantom matter. The normalizable numerical solutions found therein require a peculiar behavior at the throat: the mirror symmetry relatively the throat leads to the nonsmoothness of gravitational and matter fields. In particular, one must postulate changing of the sign of the fermionic charge density at the throat, requiring coexistence of particle and antiparticles without annihilation and posing a membrane of matter at the throat with specific properties. Apparently this kind of configuration could not exist in nature. We show that there are wormhole solutions, which are asymmetric relative the throat and endowed by smooth gravitational and matter fields, thereby being free from all the above problems. This indicates that such wormhole configurations could also be supported in a realistic scenario.

The Internet of Things (IoT) is revolutionizing diverse sectors like business, healthcare, and the military, but its widespread adoption has also led to significant security challenges. IoT networks, in particular, face increasing vulnerabilities due to the rapid proliferation of connected devices within smart infrastructures. Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) comprise software, gateways, and small sensors that wirelessly transmit and receive data.

In the process of acidizing carbonate reservoirs, dissolution is employed for reservoir modification to enhance recovery rates. This study establishes a numerical model at the pore scale for acid-rock reaction flow based on a microscopic continuum medium model, integrating phase-field theory and component transport models. Subsequently, the results of the Darcy-Brinkman-Stokes model are compared to those of the arbitrary Lagrange-Euler method to validate the accuracy of the model.

We construct a large family of Euclidean supersymmetric wormhole solutions of type IIB supergravity which are asymptotically AdS_{5}×S^{5}. The solutions are constructed using consistent truncation to maximally gauged supergravity in five dimensions which is further truncated to a four scalar model. Within this model we perform a full analytic classification of supersymmetric domain wall solutions with flat Euclidean domain wall slices.

In this work, we have studied the spin-dependent quantum transport of charged fermion on -dimensional spacetime, whose spatial part is described by a wormhole-type geometry in the presence of constant axial magnetic flux. Choosing the solutions of the Dirac equation associated with real energy and momentum, we explored the spin-dependent transmission probabilities and giant magnetoresistance (GMR) through a single layer of wormhole graphene with an external magnetic field, using the transition matrix (T-Matrix) approach. The spin-up and spin-down components within the A and B sublattices of graphene in the matrix of wave function are coupled to each other due to the wormhole structure and the magnetic field.

Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) are essential in many areas, from healthcare to environmental monitoring. However, WSNs are vulnerable to routing attacks that might jeopardize network performance and data integrity due to their inherent vulnerabilities. This work suggests a unique method for enhancing WSN security through the detection of routing threats using feed-forward artificial neural networks (ANNs).
