Organising pneumonia (OP) is a distinct pathological pattern characterised by the presence of granulation tissue buds composed of fibroblasts and myofibroblasts embedded in a loose connective tissue matrix within the distal pulmonary airspaces. When OP occurs without an identifiable cause or etiologic context, it is termed cryptogenic organising pneumonia (COP). The diagnosis of OP can be challenging due to its diverse clinical presentations, including the idiopathic form and various secondary forms associated with underlying diseases.

Hepatic hydrothorax is a known complication that occurs in 5-10% of patients with liver cirrhosis and is thought to account for approximately 2% of all pleural effusions. While patients with hepatic hydrothorax typically have ascites, this is not always true. In this case report, we present a 66-year-old female, known to have liver cirrhosis, who presented with recurrent left-side unilateral pleural effusion without ascites that required frequent therapeutic tapping for symptomatic relief.

Carotid webs are rare vascular anomalies increasingly recognized as significant contributors to ischemic strokes in young, otherwise healthy adults, particularly females. These subtle vascular malformations are often underdiagnosed due to their inconspicuous appearance on standard imaging. This case series presents three young female patients, aged 30 to 39, who presented with acute ischemic strokes attributed to carotid webs.
