Introduction: Bipolar disorder (BD) and major depressive disorder (MDD) have overlapping clinical presentations which may make it difficult for clinicians to distinguish them potentially resulting in misdiagnosis. This study combined structural MRI and machine learning techniques to determine whether regional morphological differences could distinguish patients with BD and MDD.
Methods: A total of 123 participants, including BD (n = 31), MDD (n = 48), and healthy controls (HC, n = 44), underwent high-resolution 3D T1-weighted imaging.

Background: The Montreal classification has been widely used in Crohn's disease since 2005 to categorize patients by the age of onset (A), disease location (L), behavior (B), and upper gastrointestinal tract and perianal involvement. With evolving management paradigms in Crohn's disease, we aimed to assess the performance of gastroenterologists in applying the Montreal classification.
Methods: An online survey was conducted among participants at an international educational conference on inflammatory bowel diseases.

Methods: All original data were downloaded from TCGA, GTEx, HPA, UCSC databases and various data portals.

Objective: This study aims to explore the clinical effects of simultaneous balloon eustachian tuboplasty (BET) in treating chronic secretory otitis media (COME) in children with bilateral tonsil and adenoid hypertrophy (TAH), providing a theoretical basis for the clinical application of BET.
Methods: From January 2023 to January 2024, 30 children diagnosed with COME and bilateral TAH were included in this retrospective study at our hospital. The cohort comprised a total of 55 affected ears.

Study Design: Narrative review OBJECTIVES: Sir Ludwig Guttmann realised spinal cord injury (SCI) rehabilitation should incorporate more than a biomedical approach if SCI patients were to adjust to their injury and achieve productive social re-integration. He introduced components into rehabilitation he believed would assist his patients build physical strength as well as psychological resilience that would help them re-engage with their communities. We pay tribute to Sir Ludwig by presenting research that has focussed on psychosocial factors that contribute to adjustment dynamics after SCI.
