Introduction: Demirjian's method of dental age assessment estimates the overall dental age by scoring based on the stage of tooth formation, using panoramic radiographs. This method was primarily based on data acquired from individuals of French-Canadian origin. It has since been applied and modified for the Indian population. Therefore, the aim of the present study is to assess the reliability of the Indian formula in the population of Bengaluru.
Materials And Methods: Dental maturity of 297 subjects between 9 and 17 years was assessed using the India-specific formula of Demirjian 's 8-teeth method and the chronological age of each subject was calculated. Pearson's correlation, Independent student test/Mann-Whitney test and Chi-square test were used for statistical analysis of the results obtained.
Results And Discussion: A very strong correlation ( < 0.001) between the chronological and estimated age by Demirjian's method was obtained. The mean absolute error among the total samples was not significant and majority of the error in the estimated age was <1 year in males and females, indicating that the India specific formula gave nearly accurate estimation of the chronological age of the sample subjects.
Conclusion: Demirjian's Indian formula is relaible in the population of Bengaluru.

Objective: To investigate the clinical and radiographic outcomes of 3 years after partial pulpotomy with iRoot BP Plus in immature permanent teeth with complex crown fracture and to provide refe-rence for the clinical application.
Methods: The study was prospectively designed and 104 immature permanent teeth with complex crown fracture were randomly allocated into two groups (=52). The experiment group received iRoot BP Plus as the pulp capping agent while the control group received calcium hydroxide as the pulp capping agent.

Objective: To explore the correlation between periodontal health and cognitive impairment in the older population to provide the evidence for preventing cognitive impairment from the perspective of oral health care in older adults.
Methods: A comprehensive search was conducted in PubMed, Embase, the Cochrane Library, the Web of Science, the China National Knowledge Infrastructure, Wanfang Data, the China Science and Technology Journal Database, and the China Biomedical Literature Database, to include both cross-sectional and longitudinal cohort studies on the association between periodontal health and cognitive impairment in older adults. The search was completed in April 2023.

Objectives: The final irrigation solution should have the capability of a chelation agent to remove the smear layer. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of EDTA, novel silver citrate, and chitosan nanoparticles as a final irrigation solution on the mechanical properties of root canal dentine, namely the flexural strength and elastic modulus.
Methods: Thirty-two intact, single, and straight roots, with no caries, no cracks, and no restoration of premolars, were assigned into four groups of 8 teeth each.
