The aim of this work is to establish recommendations for the preoperative evaluation and selection of patients with malignant oesophageal neoplasms, who are candidates for surgical resection with curative intent, based on the consensus established by a group of experts. Using the Delphi methodolgy and after 2 rounds of evaluation, responses were obtained from 37 experts to 47 questions about the preoperative management of oesophageal cancer, considering consensus if there was a mean score greater than 8 (range between 0 to 10). Of the respondents, 54% were women, with a mean age of 50.

The use of nephrotoxic chemotherapeutic agents during hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC), carries the risk of postoperative acute kidney injury (AKI). The available evidence on this subject is sparse with variability in the reported incidence of AKI. In this systematic review, the aim was to analyse the incidence, risk factors, and preventive measures for AKI after cytoreductive surgery and HIPEC.

Objective: A Serous Tubal Intraepithelial Carcinoma (STIC) without concomitant invasive carcinoma is occasionally identified and associated with a high risk of subsequent peritoneal carcinomatosis. Management needs optimisation. This study explores professionals' opinions and clinical practices regarding the diagnosis, counselling, treatment and follow-up of isolated STIC to facilitate clinical decision making and optimise the direction of future research.
