A program of computer-assisted teaching, called AEDM, has been developed to simulate, with a conversational type terminal, the natural process of medical decision making. This system rests on two softwares, 'teaching' and 'inquiring', with 10 000 PASCAL instructions and the database of a computer-assisted diagnostic system (about 100 MO). The study describes the objectives and the characteristics of a system based on a simulation program; using natural procedures and non-specialized software is useful to develop computer-assisted teaching concerning different fields of pathology.

Purpose: Breast cancer encompasses various subtypes with distinct prognoses, necessitating accurate stratification methods. Current techniques rely on quantifying gene expression in limited subsets. Given the complexity of breast tissues, effective detection and classification of breast cancer is crucial in medical imaging.

Human cerebral organoids serve as a quintessential model for deciphering the complexities of brain development in a three-dimensional milieu. However, imaging these organoids, particularly when they exceed several millimeters in size, has been curtailed by the technical impediments such as phototoxicity, slow imaging speeds, and inadequate resolution and imaging depth. Addressing these pivotal challenges, our study has pioneered a high-speed scanning microscope, synergistically coupled with advanced computational image processing.

The uncommon growth of cells in the brain is termed as brain tumor. To identify chronic nerve problems, like strokes, brain tumors, multiple sclerosis, and dementia, brain magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is normally utilized. Identifying the tumor on early stage can improve the patient's survival rate.

Institute of Epidemiology and Tropical Neurology, OmegaHealth, Inserm U1094, IRD U270, Univ. Limoges, CHU Limoges, EpiMaCT - Epidemiology of Chronic Diseases in Tropical Zone, Limoges, France.

Background: Despite their high prevalence and significant burden, mental disorders remain grossly under-diagnosed and under-treated. In low-and-middle-income countries, such as Mali, integrating mental health services into primary care is the most viable way of closing the treatment gap. The aim of this study was to assess the effects of a mental health e-learning program on the knowledge, attitudes and practices of primary healthcare professionals in Mali.

Cryo-electron tomography (cryo-ET) is confronted with the intricate task of unveiling novel structures. General class discovery (GCD) seeks to identify new classes by learning a model that can pseudo-label unannotated (novel) instances solely using supervision from labeled (base) classes. While 2D GCD for image data has made strides, its 3D counterpart remains unexplored.
