Admissions for patients with injection drug use-associated infective endocarditis are increasing. Injection drug use-associated infective endocarditis is a serious and often fatal cardiac infection. Nurses are often frustrated when caring for these patients because these care assignments are physically and emotionally demanding.

This study investigated (i) the social and political factors driving risk averse decision making for children's physically active play in schools, and (ii) the policies shaping these decisions in Victoria, Australia. A theory-informed multi-method case study design combined policy document mapping, semi-structured interviews, and photo elicitation with 30 education policy actors. Data were analysed using reflexive thematic analysis.

Objective: This article aims to explore architectural-rich insights derived from users' experiences within everyday practice in palliative environments and provides a practical framework for healthcare organisations, architects and researchers involved in (re)designing palliative environments for person-centred care.
Methods: An ethnographic study involving participatory observation was undertaken to gain insight into the influence of palliative environments on the diverse users' subjective experiences. This immersive research took place across multiple palliative environments, encompassing a palliative care unit, a day care centre for palliative care and a hospice located in Belgium.

Background: Postgraduate taught nursing students face many challenges, including lack of confidence in their own knowledge and skills which might create anxiety and impact on the development of research expertise. Therefore, to address and support the development and acquisition of student understanding it is important to explore and be cognizant of the student's experience. This will facilitate enhancement of the curriculum, whilst improving future career aspirations and the provision of evidence-based care in practice.
