Background: Remote patient monitoring implies continuous follow-up of health-related parameters of patients outside healthcare facilities. The goals of remote patient monitoring are improvements for patients and reduced healthcare costs.

Background: Correct inhaler technique is vital for managing respiratory conditions like asthma. Patients from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds are at higher risk of sub-optimal adherence and errors in inhaler technique. This study aimed to validate an Arabic version of the inhaler technique questionnaire for self-assessment of the metered-dose inhaler (MDI) technique by assessing agreement between observed and self-reported techniques among Arabic-speaking individuals with asthma in Australia.

Aims: The Tpeak-Tend interval on electrocardiogram may be a predictor of worse outcomes in Takotsubo syndrome (TTS), but the mechanisms have not been fully determined. This study aimed to investigate the relationships between the corrected Tpeak-Tend (cTp-e) interval and coronary microvascular-dysfunction (CMD) assessed by the angiography-derived index of microvascular resistance (Angio-IMR) and the in-hospital prognosis in patients with TTS.
Methods And Results: We retrospectively evaluated 111 consecutive patients admitted for TTS who underwent coronary angiography at Kindai University Hospital from October 2009 to July 2023.

Vitamin K is essential to produce functional vitamin K-dependent coagulation factors (prothrombin, factors VII, IX, and X). Vitamin K antagonists inhibit the normal activation of these factors, leading to bleeding manifestations of variable severity. Long-acting vitamin K antagonists or superwarfarins were developed as rodenticides and have a significantly longer half-life and greater potency when compared to warfarin.

Background: Coexisting symptoms can confound outcomes after arthroscopic correction of femoroacetabular impingement (FAI). Symptom burden (SB) represents the cumulative load of patient-reported symptoms.
Purpose: To quantify the prevalence of symptoms in athletes before and after arthroscopic correction of FAI and evaluate the impact of independent and cumulative SB resolution on outcomes.
