We performed a spectroscopic study on the-MTDATA (donor) and PPT (acceptor) molecular vertical heterostructure. The electronic properties of the donor/acceptor interface have been comprehensively characterized by synchrotron radiation-based photoelectron spectroscopy and near-edge x-ray absorption fine structure. The spectroscopic results reveal the existence of new hybridization states in the original molecular energy gap, likely attributed to the interaction between the donor and the acceptor molecules at the interface. Such hybridized states can have a significant impact on the charge transport in organic electronic devices based on donor-acceptor molecules and can explain the increased efficiency of device using such molecules.

Background: Remaking Recess (RR) is a school-based evidence-based peer social engagement intervention for autistic students. RR involves direct training and coaching with educators; however, educators face several barriers to implementation at both the individual- and organizational-levels. This protocol paper describes a multi-site study that will test whether an educator-level implementation strategy, coaching, with or without a school-level implementation strategy, school-based teams, will maximize educators' use (fidelity and sustainment) of RR for autistic students and their peers who are socially-isolated, rejected, or peripheral and may need additional support during recess.

Horizontal transfer of genetic material in eukaryotes has rarely been documented over short evolutionary timescales. Here, we show that two retrotransposons, Shellder and Spoink, invaded the genomes of multiple species of the melanogaster subgroup within the last 50 years. Through horizontal transfer, Spoink spread in D.

In this paper, the state estimation problem is investigated for a general class of nonlinear networked systems subject to both external disturbances and stochastic deception attacks. In the presence of deception attacks, a novel hybrid stubborn extended state observer (ESO) is established to estimate the states and total disturbances, simultaneously. In addition, the event-triggered mechanism (ETM) is introduced utilizing the estimation errors to relieve the burden of the transmission networks.

Cadmium (Cd) is one of the most dangerous environmental pollutants and is easily absorbed by food crops. Quinoa is a kind of coarse grain crop with rich nutrition and strong stress resistance, which is easy to accumulate Cd. The increasingly serious soil Cd pollution poses a serious threat to the food safety of quinoa.

Recently, we investigated a number of so-called σ- and τ-functionals based on the adiabatic-connection fluctuation-dissipation theorem (ACFDT); particularly, extensions of the random phase approximation (RPA) with inclusion of an exchange kernel in the form of an antisymmetrized Hartree kernel. One of these functionals, based upon the approximate exchange kernel (AXK) of Bates and Furche, leads to a nonlinear contribution of the spline function used within σ-functionals, which we previously avoided through the introduction of a simplified "top-down" approach in which the σ-functional modification is inserted a posteriori following the analytic coupling strength integration within the framework of the ACFDT and which was shown to provide excellent performance for the GMTKN55 database when using hybrid PBE0 reference orbitals. In this work, we examine the analytic "bottom-up" approach in which the spline function is inserted a priori, i.
