Background: Arteriovenous malformations (AVMs) account for <3% of vascular anomalies. This study aims to present the 10-year experience of a German vascular anomaly center (VAC) with AVMs and evaluate diagnostic imaging for treatment-relevant information for minimally invasive therapy planning.
Material And Methods: A retrospective study including patients from the VAC database with AVMs was conducted.

Objectives: Trauma poses a significant health burden in Saudi Arabia, with high rates of morbidity and mortality rates. We evaluated the trends among trauma team (TT) physicians in Saudi Arabia regarding their awareness and referral practices for percutaneous endovascular arterial embolization (EAE) in bleeding patients.
Methods: A 13-question survey developed by consultants from various specialties assessed the knowledge of TT physicians regarding decision-making and appropriate approaches for managing traumatic bleeding.

Background: Published reports demonstrate that the use of Castor stent-graft is a promising treatment of aortic pathologies with the need to land in zone 2. However, there is a lack of publications on the medium-term results of Castor in the European population. This research evaluates the mid-term results of the Castor stent-graft in several Polish centers for the treatment of aortic pathologies and enriches the current knowledge of Castor stent-grafts.

The review is devoted to history of anti-embolic protection system, in particular protection against cerebral embolism, in cardiac surgery and endovascular surgery. Cerebral embolism is a common and dangerous complication in cardiovascular surgery, leading to disability of patients and significantly impairing treatment outcomes. Prevention of embolic complications is an urgent task in correction of heart valve disease in cardiac and endovascular surgery.
