Importance: Pregnant people with opioid use disorder (OUD) are at high risk for potentially avoidable maternal morbidity. The majority of pregnant people with OUD receive health insurance through state Medicaid programs, but there is little comprehensive data on the burden of severe maternal morbidity (SMM)-a composite measure of adverse maternal health outcomes-among this high-risk group.
Objective: To estimate rates of SMM among Medicaid-enrolled pregnant people with OUD from 2016 to 2018.

The advancement of autonomous driving technology, particularly Tesla's launch of its new Robotaxi, marks a transformation in transportation. Understanding the theoretical mechanisms that drive consumers' intention to use autonomous taxis is essential. This study develops a structural equation model (SEM), extending the applicability of the TAM and TPB model, and incorporates external factors like attitudes, subjective norms, traffic efficiency, and perceived cost-benefit into the model to analyze their impact on consumers' perceived characteristics (perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use).

Objective: The German Health Data Lab is going to provide access to German statutory health insurance claims data ranging from 2009 to the present for research purposes. Due to evolving data formats within the German Health Data Lab, there is a need to standardize this data into a Common Data Model to facilitate collaborative health research and minimize the need for researchers to adapt to multiple data formats. For this purpose we selected transforming the data to the Observational Medical Outcomes Partnership Common Data Model.

Ambulatory antimicrobial stewardship can be challenging due to disparities in resource allocation across the care continuum, competing priorities for ambulatory prescribers, ineffective communication strategies, and lack of incentive to prioritize antimicrobial stewardship program (ASP) initiatives. Efforts to monitor and compare outpatient antibiotic usage metrics have been implemented through quality measures (QM). Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS®) represent standardized measures that examine the quality of antibiotic prescribing by region and across insurance health plans.

Background: The introduction of cyclin-dependent kinases 4 and 6 inhibitors (CDK4/6is) has transformed the treatment landscape for patients with hormone receptor positive (HR+) and human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 negative (HER2-) metastatic breast cancer (MBC). To our knowledge, no studies have quantified health care resource utilization (HRU) or economic burden following CDK4/6i initiation in the Medicare population.
Objective: To describe HRU and quantify health care costs among Medicare-enrolled patients with HR+ HER2- MBC treated with CDK4/6is in the first-line setting.
