Background: Neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders (NMOSDs) are degenerative diseases frequently associated with severe recurrences and high risk of progressive disability. In this report, we describe an unusual case of a patient with the coexistence between NMOSD and mixed connective tissue disease (MCTD).
Case Description: A 58-year-old Caucasian man was admitted to the Emergency Department (ED) with low back pain and walking inability.

Comprehensive examinations of health literacy (HL) among students in Kazakhstan are lacking. The existing literature from adult populations in Kazakhstan suggests associations between higher HL and socioeconomic and demographic factors. The HLS19-Q12 tool was used in this study to assess the HL level of 3230 students with various backgrounds.

Entity alignment (EA) is a typical strategy for knowledge graph integration, aiming to identify and align different entity pairs representing the same real object from different knowledge graphs. Temporal Knowledge Graph (TKG) extends the static knowledge graph by introducing timestamps. However, since temporal knowledge graphs are constructed based on their own data sources, this usually leads to problems such as missing or redundant entity information in the temporal knowledge graph.

Omissions or delays in desmopressin can result in serious patient harm in patients with Arginine-Vasopressin Deficiency (AVP-D), formally known as Cranial Diabetes Insipidus (CDI). Desmopressin administration practice in hospitals has not been thoroughly investigated previously. This study evaluated desmopressin prescription and administration practice at a large tertiary centre.

Anorexia nervosa (AN) represents an eating disorder, which features the highest rate of mortality among all psychiatric disorders. The disease prevalence is increasing steadily, and an effective cure is missing.
