Background: Treatment options for correcting limb-length discrepancy after limb-salvage reconstruction for proximal tibial osteosarcoma in children have several limitations. Therefore, we aimed to evaluate the feasibility, complications, prognosis, and clinical outcomes of reconstruction using hemiarthroplasty after tumor resection in pediatric patients with proximal tibial osteosarcoma.
Methods: We conducted a comprehensive retrospective analysis of the data of pediatric patients with osteosarcoma of the proximal tibia who underwent surgery between December 2008 and November 2018 at our center.

Autologous breast reconstruction (ABR) uses a harvested tissue flap from the abdomen, posterior thigh, or buttocks to rebuild the breast postmastectomy. Identification of nerves for use in autologous sensate breast reconstruction flaps is an important surgical consideration as loss of breast sensation is a common risk of ABR. The posterior femoral cutaneous nerve (PFCN) and its branches supply sensory innervation to skin of the posterior thigh, leg, perineum, and buttocks, creating a feasible candidate for sensate profunda artery perforator (PAP) flaps for reestablishing breast sensation through ABR.

Background: This work aimed to investigate the change in fingerprint depth and the recovery rule of fingerprint biological recognition function after repairing finger abdominal defects and rebuilding fingerprint with a free flap.
Method: From April 2018 to March 2023, we collected a total of 43 cases of repairing finger pulp defects using the free flap of the fibular side of the great toe with the digital nerve. After surgery, irregular follow-up visits were conducted to observe fingerprint clarity, perform the ninhydrin test or detect visible sweating with the naked eye.

Objective: Management of large irregular wounds in children had been confusing plastic and reconstructive surgeons. Herein, this study was aimed to propose a new treatment method based on the principle of adapting different recipient zones to overcome the intractable wounds, simplifying and programing the design process of targeted flaps for covering large irregular soft-tissue defects.
Patients And Methods: From January 2009 to December 2020, 31 children (9 girls and 22 boys) aged 3-16 years (mean 9.

To explore the effect of accurately localized mini anterolateral thigh perforator flap in repairing medium-sized skin and soft tissue defects in fingers. The study was a retrospective observational study. From December 2019 to September 2022, 15 patients with medium-sized skin and soft tissue defects who met the inclusion criteria in fingers were admitted to the Second Affiliated Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University, including 12 males and 3 females, aged 23 to 62 years.
