Background: Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic autoimmune disease, progressively distinctive via cartilage destruction, auto-antibody production, severe joint pain, and synovial inflammation. Nanotechnology represents one of the utmost promising scientific technologies of the 21st century. Nanocarriers could be the key to unlocking its potential by encapsulating Rutin in targeted drug delivery systems, potentially for targeted Rheumatoid arthritis therapy.

Cyclovirobuxine D, a natural compound derived from the medicinal plant Buxus sinica, demonstrates a diverse array of therapeutic benefits, encompassing anti-arrhythmic properties, blood pressure regulation, neuronal protection, and anti-ischemic activity. However, its limited solubility hinders the bioavailability of current oral and injectable formulations, causing considerable adverse reactions and toxicity. In this investigation, we embarked on an unprecedented exploration of the skin penetration potential of cyclovirobuxine D utilizing chemical penetration enhancers and niosomes as innovative strategies to enhance its dermal absorption.

Apigenin (CHO, API) is a natural flavonoid widely found in vegetables, fruits, and plants such as celery, oranges, and chamomile. In recent years, API has attracted considerable attention as a dietary supplement due to its low toxicity, non-mutagenic properties and remarkable therapeutic efficacy in various diseases. In particular, evidence from a large number of preclinical studies suggests that API has promising effects in the prevention and treatment of a variety of liver diseases, including multifactorial liver injury, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease/non-alcoholic steatohepatitis, liver fibrosis and liver cancer.

Chromosome instability is a prevalent vulnerability of cancer cells that has yet to be fully exploited therapeutically. To identify genes uniquely essential to chromosomally unstable cells, we mined the Cancer Dependency Map for genes essential in tumor cells with high levels of copy number aberrations. We identify and validate KIF18A, a mitotic kinesin, as a vulnerability of chromosomally unstable cancer cells.
