Background: Gallbladder cancer is a rare disease with poor prognosis, for which surgical resection is considered the only curative treatment. The widespread adoption of laparoscopic cholecystectomy for benign biliary diseases has led to an increased incidence of postoperatively diagnosed gallbladder cancer. Several studies have proposed that tumors exceeding stage T2 require additional resection.

Background: The treatment of nonsaphenous varicose veins (NSVV), including incompetent perforating veins (IPV) and recurrent varicose veins (RVV), remains challenging for many reasons, including vein tortuosity, deep location and short vein to be treated. Data and recommendations are lacking. Steam vein sclerosis (SVS) is an endothermal therapy that has been used in the treatment of incompetent saphenous veins, achieving occlusion rates similar to other thermal ablation techniques with good patient tolerance and minimal postoperative pain.

An 80-year-old man underwent laparoscopic distal gastrectomy, D2 lymphadenectomy, and Billroth Ⅰ reconstruction for gastric cancer. The short gastric artery and vein were completely preserved. The patient developed a fever on the second postoperative day, and a blood test on the third day showed high inflammation findings, and contrast-enhanced CT scan revealed decreased gastric wall blood flow of the anal side of the remnant stomach.

Objectives: To evaluate the short-term safety and efficacy of vaginal hysterectomy with cervical preservation in patients with genital prolapse stages II to IV.
Materials And Methods: This is a descriptive case series study. It included women with genital prolapse stages II to IV, indicated for vaginal hysterectomy, with negative cervicovaginal cytology for malignancy, who underwent subtotal vaginal hysterectomy with suspension of the cervical stump to the sacrospinous ligament between June 1 and December 31, 2023, at a high-complexity general clinic.
