- A literature review of eight relevant studies highlighted three key themes: the impact of the 2014/15 crisis, challenges in defining TB risk, and the comparison of CXR-led versus symptom-led screening.
- The conclusion suggests that CXR screening should focus on high-risk groups rather than a universal approach, with local protocols needed to justify its use based on TB risk assessments.

Previous studies have shown that the refugees have poor health in several domains, and crude reports have suggested that those fleeing Ukraine at later stages have even poorer health. Inpatient psychiatry for child and adolescents came about from the concept of the asylum for adults. Although the asylums were made isolate the adults from the community, the inpatient hospitalization for youth was needed to keep the child safe from the environment. The concept of the inpatient unit is filled with controversy and all people involved in the experience have mixed feelings about being admitted to the hospitalization.
