Background: This case report highlights the conduction disorder anomalies associated with dengue infection, particularly bradyarrhythmias due to dysfunction of the sinus node and atrioventricular node, which may require cardiac stimulation such as pacemaker implantation. This case emphasizes the importance of continuous monitoring and the use of additional diagnostic techniques to detect complications in a timely manner.
Case Summary: A 31-year-old male patient was admitted to our institution with symptoms of dyspnoea, orthopnoea, and severe bradycardia.

Trigger finger, or stenosing tenovaginitis, is a common condition characterized by impaired flexor tendon sliding due to thickening of the A1 pulley. While open surgical release remains the gold standard for the treatment of persistent trigger finger, there is increasing interest in minimally invasive ultrasound-guided techniques to improve precision and outcomes. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the outcomes, safety, and complications associated with ultrasound-guided trigger finger release using a minimally invasive surgical knife.

Background: Temporary transvenous pacing (TTP) is a common procedure, predominantly performed in the catheterization laboratory (cath lab) because of presumed lower complication rate. This study aims to evaluate the efficacy and safety of TTP placement in the ICU compared to TTP placement in the cath lab.
Methods: This retrospective, real-life study included all patients requiring TTP in a tertiary care ICU between 2019 and 2022.

Purpose Of The Study: Temporary hemiepiphyseodesis using figure-eight plates is currently one of the main surgical techniques to correct axial deformities of lower limbs in paediatric patients. Comprehensive analysis, correct indication and monitoring of treatment are the basic prerequisites for successful therapy. The aim of the study was to analyse parameters that could become an alternative to standard parameters used nowadays, namely the inserted screw angle (SA), and a new parameter - condylar ratio (CR).
