Genetic algorithms (GA) are computational methods for solving optimization problems inspired by natural selection. Because we can simulate the quantum circuits that implement GA in different highly configurable noise models and even run GA on actual quantum computers, we can analyze this class of heuristic methods in the quantum context for NP-hard problems. This paper proposes an instantiation of the Reduced Quantum Genetic Algorithm (RQGA) that solves the NP-hard graph coloring problem in O(N). The proposed implementation solves both vertex and edge coloring and can also determine the chromatic number (., the minimum number of colors required to color the graph). We examine the results, analyze the algorithm convergence, and measure the algorithm's performance using the Qiskit simulation environment. Our Reduced Quantum Genetic Algorithm (RQGA) circuit implementation and the graph coloring results show that quantum heuristics can tackle complex computational problems more efficiently than their conventional counterparts.

Background: Fruit acidity and color are important quality attributes in peaches. Although there are some exceptions, blood-fleshed peaches typically have a sour taste. However, little is known about the genetic variations linking organic acid and color regulation in peaches.

Objective: In-depth investigation of the diagnostic performance of dual-energy CT (DECT) virtual non-calcium (VNCa) technique for sacroiliac joint bone marrow edema (BME) in patients with ankylosing spondylitis(AS).
Methods: A total of 42 patients with AS)who underwent sacroiliac joint MRI and DECT scans on the same day at our Rheumatology and Immunology Department between August 2022 and June 2023 were selected. Using MRI as the reference standard, the presence of BME on the iliac and sacral surfaces was evaluated, resulting in the categorization of patients into BME-positive and BME-negative groups.

Background: Private-part skin diseases (PPSDs) can cause a patient's stigma, which may hinder the early diagnosis of these diseases. Artificial intelligence (AI) is an effective tool to improve the early diagnosis of PPSDs, especially in preventing the deterioration of skin tumors in private parts such as Paget disease. However, to our knowledge, there is currently no research on using AI to identify PPSDs due to the complex backgrounds of the lesion areas and the challenges in data collection.

Introduction: Dementia, an increasingly critical public health concern in low and middle-income countries, is associated with lower socioeconomic status, early cognitive impairment, and elevated dementia-related mortality risk. This study seeks to estimate the prevalence of cognitive impairment, investigate its links with social indicators, and visualize social gradients across different regions in Colombia.
Methods: Secondary data analysis from the SABE 2015 survey, multinomial regression analyses, and equiplot graphs.

Background: Music-induced hearing loss (MIHL) is a critical public health issue. During music instruction, students and teachers are at risk of developing hearing loss due to exposure to loud and unsafe sound levels that can exceed 100 dBA. Prevention of MIHL in music students must be a desired action of all music educators.
