Forced degradation studies have been used to simplify analytical methodology development and achieve a deeper knowledge about the inherent stability of active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) and drug products. This provides insight into degradation species and pathways. Identification of impurities in pharmaceutical products is closely related to the selection of the most appropriate analytical methods like HPLC-UV, LC-MS/MS, LC-NMR, GC-MS, and capillary electrophoresis. Herein, recent trends in analytical perspectives during 2018-April 14, 2021, are discussed based on forced and impurity degradation profiling of pharmaceuticals. Literature review showed that several methods have been used for experimental design and analysis conditions such as matrix type, column type, mobile phase, elution modes, detection wavelengths, and therapeutic category. Thus, since these factors influence the separation and identification of the impurities and degradation products, we attempted to perform a statistical analysis for the developed methods according to the abovementioned factors.

Introduction: Despite the existing reports on mistreatment and disrespectful maternal care, few studies have investigated interventions to mitigate this issue. The present study aims to assess the impact of consulting midwives on maternal rights charter on perception of respectful maternity care and postpartum blues among postpartum women in two hospitals in southern Iran.
Methodology: This quasi-experimental study was conducted on 437 postpartum women (217 mothers before the intervention and 220 mothers after the intervention) and 44 midwives working in the maternity ward of two hospitals affiliated to Bushehr University of Medical Sciences in 2023-2024.

In this perspective we draw together the data from the genome wide association studies for Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease and the tauopathies and reach the conclusion that in each case, most of the risk loci are involved in the clearance of the deposited proteins: in Alzheimer's disease, the microglial removal of Aβ, in the synucleinopathies, the lysosomal clearance of synuclein and in the tauopathies, the removal of tau protein by the ubiquitin proteasome. We make the point that most loci identified through genome wide association studies are not strictly pathogenic but rather relate to failures to remove age related damage. We discuss these issues in the context of copathologies in elderly individuals and the prediction of disease through polygenic risk score analysis at different ages.

Combinatorial treatments integrating cells and biomolecules within scaffolds have been investigated to address the multifactorial nature of spinal cord injury (SCI). Current regenerative treatments have been ineffective as they do not consider the spatial positions of various cell types to effectively form functional neural pathways. Emulating the complex heterogeneity of cells in the native spinal cord requires translating the existing biological understanding of spatial patterning in neural development, as well as the influence of biomolecule and mechanical patterning on regional specification and axonal regeneration, to engineer a scaffold for spinal cord regeneration.

SUMMARY (the "pneumococcus") is a significant human pathogen. The key determinant of pneumococcal fitness and virulence is its ability to produce a protective polysaccharide (PS) capsule, and anti-capsule antibodies mediate serotype-specific opsonophagocytic killing of bacteria. Notably, immunization with pneumococcal conjugate vaccines (PCVs) has effectively reduced the burden of disease caused by serotypes included in vaccines but has also spurred a relative upsurge in the prevalence of non-vaccine serotypes.
