Notes on (Cyperaceae) from China (VIII): five new species and a new variety from southern and south-western China.

Our field surveys and specimen examination of from southern to south-western regions in China resulted in the discovery of five new species and one new variety, which are here named as X.F.Jin & Y.F.Lu (in sect. Surculosae), Y.F.Lu & X.F.Jin (sect. Clandestinae), Y.F.Lu & X.F.Jin (sect. Aulocystis), S.Yun Liang ex Y.F.Lu & X.F.Jin (sect. Decorae), X.F.Jin & Y.F.Lu and C.thibeticaFranch.var.angustifolia X.F.Jin & Y.F.Lu (sect. Rhomboidales).
