The rapid spread of the new Coronavirus, COVID-19, causes serious symptoms in humans and can lead to fatality. A COVID-19 infected person can experience a dry cough, muscle pain, headache, fever, sore throat, and mild to moderate respiratory illness, according to a clinical report. A chest X-ray (also known as radiography) or a chest CT scan are more effective imaging techniques for diagnosing lung cancer. Computed Tomography (CT) scan images allow for fast and precise COVID-19 screening. In this paper, a novel hybridized approach based on the Neighborhood Rough Set Classification method (NRSC) and Backpropagation Neural Network (BPN) is proposed to classify COVID and NON-COVID images. The proposed novel classification algorithm is compared with other existing benchmark approaches such as Neighborhood Rough Set, Backpropagation Neural Network, Decision Tree, Random Forest Classifier, Naive Bayes Classifier, K- Nearest Neighbor, and Support Vector Machine. Various classification accuracy measures are used to assess the efficacy of the classification algorithms.

Over the past 30 years, researchers have developed X-ray-focusing telescopes by employing the principle of total reflection in thin metal films. The Wolter-I focusing mirror with variable-curvature surfaces demands high precision. However, there has been limited investigation into the removal mechanisms for variable-curvature X-ray mandrels, which are crucial for achieving the desired surface roughness and form accuracy, especially in reducing mid-spatial frequency (MSF) errors.

Neighborhood rough set (NRS) have been successfully applied to attribute reduction (AR). However, most current methods of AR based on NRS are supervised or semi-supervised. This limits their ability to process data without decision information.

Background: Adolescent voices are frequently excluded from sexual and reproductive health (SRH) research. Despite progressive policies and access to SRH care, adolescents in New York City who live in neighborhoods with high poverty and those who identify as Black or Hispanic experience poor SRH outcomes, including high rates of unplanned pregnancies and sexually transmitted infections.
Objective: This qualitative study aims to guide Black and Hispanic adolescent mothers in identifying problem areas in SRH care and cocreate health service recommendations with input from health care stakeholders to address those problems and improve SRH experiences.

Ongoing research on cellular heterogeneity of Cancer stem cells (CSCs) and its synergistic involvement with tumor milieu reveals enormous complexity, resulting in diverse hindrance in immune therapy. CSCs has captured attention for their contribution in shaping of tumor microenvironment and as target for therapeutic intervention. Recent studies have highlighted cell-extrinsic and intrinsic mechanisms of reciprocal interaction between tumor stroma constituents and CSCs.

In this study, the effects of surface roughness and Reynolds number (Re) on fluid flow and solute transport are investigated based on a double rough-walled fracture model that precisely represents the natural geometries of rock fractures. The double rough-walled fracture model is composed of two three-dimensional(3D) self-affine fracture surfaces generated using the improved successive random additions (SRA). Simulation of fluid flow and solute transport through the models were conducted by directly solving the Navier-Stokes equation and advection-diffusion equation (ADE), respectively.
