The rapidly aging population of the United States presents an urgent need for healthcare professionals trained in Gerontology, rooted in a holistic framework of health across the lifespan, and sustained by interprofessional collaborative practice. Institutions of higher education can meet this demand by aligning their curriculum and co-curriculum to train health sciences students in the increasingly important field of Gerontology. This IPEP guide will outline lessons learned at one University based on program director insight into aging-related courses, experiential training, and research opportunities. The lessons described here provide insight for other faculty and program directors on the current state of aging-related education and how to move from aging-related to aging-rich education in an interprofessional way.

In the third year of pre-clinical medicine (known as Part II of the Natural Sciences Tripos at the University of Cambridge), students have the opportunity to lead a primary research project on clinically relevant anatomy, often involving donor dissection. This descriptive study used a cross-sectional survey to explore the effects of undertaking an anatomical research project on students' attitudes, interests, and a variety of academic and professional skills. Of 45 students who were invited to participate in this study, 40 responded.

Numerous studies in humans and animals suggest that diet has the potential to modify the epigenome and these modifications can be inherited transgenerationally, but few studies investigate how diet can protect against negative effects of toxins. Potential evidence in the primary literature supports that caloric restriction, high-fat diets, high protein-to-carbohydrate ratios, and dietary supplementation protect against environmental toxins and strengthen these effects on their offspring's epigenome.

Unit of Work Ability and Working Career, Team for Sustainable Working Careers, Finnish Institute of Occupational Health, Työterveyslaitos, P.O. Box 40, Helsinki, Topeliuksenkatu 41B, 00032, Finland.
Background: The purpose of the study was to investigate the various aspects of employees' work environment, including their job characteristics; the level of support provided by supervisors, job coaches and coworkers; and their perceptions of job performance and productivity from the perspectives of both employees and supervisors in the context of sustainable employability in supported employment interventions. This study was part of the Finnish Work Ability Programme Evaluation Study (2020-2024).
Methods: This study is theoretically informed by the concepts of specific work ability and sustainable employability, as well as how health affects productivity at the task level-approach.
Background: Immunization clinics present an opportunity for passive screening for malnutrition among young children through plotting of growth charts. Passive screening for malnutrition can enable timely interventions and improve morbidity and mortality of under-five children. Therefore, we aimed to increase the plotting of growth charts (weight-for-age) to 90%, among under-five children attending immunization clinics in an Urban Health Centre (UHC) in south Delhi over three months.
