A database of nutritional strategies of nanoplankton genera present in North American lake surface waters is presented. This work represents an integrated and updated database of nutritional strategies for nanoplankton genera commonly found in surface waters of North American lakes. We tabulate the nutritional strategies (autotroph, phago-mixotroph and phago-heterotroph) for nanoplankton genera identified during several pan-continental lake surveys: the EPA-NLA surveys conducted in 2012 and 2017 across the continental USA and the NSERC Canadian Lake Pulse survey campaign conducted from 2017 to 2019.

Background: Online malicious attempts such as scamming continue to proliferate across the globe, aided by the ubiquitous nature of technology that makes it increasingly easy to dupe individuals. This study aimed to identify the predictors for online fraud victimization focusing on Personal, Environment and Behavior (PEB).
Methods: Social Cognitive Theory (SCT) was used as a guide in developing the PEB framework.

Introduction: HIV self-testing (HIVST) is an innovative strategy that has been shown to increase uptake of HIV testing compared to conventional facility-based testing. HIVST implementation with digital-based supports may help facilitate testing accessibility and linkage to care after a reactive self-test. Economic evidence around community-based implementation of HIVST is growing; however, economic evidence around digital-based HIVST approaches remains limited.

The Ca/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase II α (CaMKIIα) plays a crucial role in regulating neuronal signaling and higher brain functions, being involved in various brain diseases. Utilization of small molecules targeting the CaMKIIα hub domain has proved to be a promising strategy for specific CaMKIIα modulation and future therapy. Through an structure-based virtual screening campaign, we herein identified 2-arylthiazole-4-carboxylic acids as a new class of high-affinity CaMKIIα hub ligands.
