Given the nursing shortage, nurse educators and leaders are responsible now more than ever to advocate for baccalaureate education as an entry-to-practice requirement for registered nurses. The world today is complex, with population health issues stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic, high patient acuity and climate change. Accordingly, a nursing workforce that receives high-quality education is required. In this paper, an overview is provided about the evolution of a baccalaureate degree in nursing as an entry-to-practice requirement. We highlight evidence about patient outcomes associated with baccalaureate-prepared nurses, identify gaps and examine the nature of workplace environments in optimizing contributions stemming from baccalaureate-prepared nurses.

Background: In order to develop contemporary telehealth curricula for entry-to-practice physiotherapy programs that develop the capabilities required to practice telehealth, it is important to evaluate the delivery of telehealth practices within the physiotherapy profession.
Objective: To assess the current literature to (i) determine what types of assessments and interventions have been delivered via synchronous forms of telehealth (videoconferencing and telephone) by physiotherapists (ii) determine which platforms were used for service delivery and which practice areas have delivered synchronous telehealth physiotherapy assessments and interventions.

Background: Current literature demonstrates a gap in research involving mixed method study of clinical judgment development in prelicensure nursing students.
Objectives: Clinical judgment of two groups of nursing students were compared using the Lasater Clinical Judgment Rubric (LCJR).
Design: A mixed method convergent parallel quasi-experimental cross-sectional approach was used to determine if simulation increased clinical judgment skills between beginner and advanced pre-licensure nursing students.
