A 69-year-old man with intermediate-risk prostate cancer and a mildly elevated prostate-specific antigen of 8.2 μg/L was referred for 68Ga-prostate-specific membrane antigen (68Ga-PSMA) PET/CT for primary staging. An incidental intensely 68Ga-PSMA-avid hepatic focus was seen on PSMA PET and subsequent FDG PET/CT and MRI cholangiogram. This was confirmed to be hepatocellular cholangiocarcinoma on subsequent histopathological examination.

Purpose: To investigate the differences of combined hepatocellular carcinoma-cholangiocarcinoma (cHCC-CCA) patients with a cholangiocarcinoma (CCA) component ≥ 30% or < 30% versus intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (iCCA) patients in recurrence-free survival (RFS) and overall survival (OS) prognoses.
Methods: Patients with cHCC-CCA and iCCA after surgery were recruited. All cHCC-CCA patients were divided into two subgroups (CCA components ≥ 30% and < 30%).

Background And Aims: Primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC) is a known risk factor for hepatobiliary malignancies. We conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis of published studies to determine the incidence and risk factors for hepatobiliary malignancies in people with PSC.
Methods: Pubmed and Embase databases were searched from inception to April 10, 2024 for cohort studies reporting data on the incidence of cholangiocarcinoma (CCA), hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), or gallbladder cancer (GBC) in PSC.
