A citric acid ligand assisted self-assembly method is used for the synthesis of ternary mesoporous cerium lanthanum solid solution doped with metal elements (Co, Zr, Mg). Their textural property was characterized by X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, N adsorption-desorption, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and TPD techniques, and so on. The results of catalytic testing for synthesis of dimethyl carbonate (DMC) from CHOH and CO indicated that the DMC yield reached 316 mmol/g on Ce-La-Co solid solution when the reaction temperature was 413 K and the reaction pressure was 8.0 MPa. It was found that Co had synergistic effect with La and Ce, doping of Co on the mesoporous Ce-La solid solution was helpful to increase the surface area of the catalyst, promote CO adsorption and activation, and improve the redox performance of solid solution catalyst. The conversion of Co to Co resulted in the continuous redox cycle between Ce and Ce, and the oxygen vacancy content of the catalyst was increased. Studies have shown that the catalytic performance of Ce-La-Co solid solution is positively correlated with oxygen vacancy content. On this basis, the reaction mechanism of DMC synthesis from CO and CHOH on the catalyst was speculated.

1,4-Dihydroxyanthraquinone (1,4-DHAQ, a fluorophore) doped carbon nanotubes@cellulose (1,4-DHAQ-doped CNTs@CL) nanofibrous membranes have been prepared electrospinning and subsequent deacetylation in this work. They have been successfully applied for highly sensitive detection of Cu in aqueous solution. The surface area per unit mass (S/M) ratio of the nanofibrous membranes was enhanced by incorporating the CNTs into cellulose.

A novel method was established using a restricted access material combined with a molecularly imprinted polymer (RAM-MIP) as the sorbent material in solid phase extraction (SPE) for clean-up of α-endosulfan, β-endosulfan, endosulfate, endosulfan-ether, endosulfan lactone, heptachlor, heptachlor--epoxide, and heptachlor--epoxide in pork and gas chromatography (GC) for determination. The RAM-MIP was prepared by precipitation polymerization by using endosulfan as the template, methacrylic acid (MAA) as the monomer, glycidyl methacrylate (GMA) as the pro-hydrophilic co-monomer, ethylene glycol dimethacrylate (EGDMA) as the crosslinker, azobisisobutyronitrile (AIBN) as the initiator, and toluene as the porogen. Ultraviolet spectroscopy (UV) and H-nuclear magnetic resonance (H-NMR) analysis verified that MAA interacted specifically with endosulfan in a ratio of 1 : 1 in the pre-polymerization solution.

Effective heat dissipation remains a grand challenge for energy-dense devices and systems. As heterogeneous integration becomes increasingly inevitable in electronics, thermal resistance at interfaces has emerged as a critical bottleneck for thermal management. However, existing thermal interface solutions are constrained by either high thermal resistance or poor reliability.

Purpose: BMS-986299 is a first-in-class, NOD-, LRR-, and pyrin-domain containing-3 (NLRP3) inflammasome agonist enhancing adaptive immune and T-cell memory responses.
Materials And Methods: This was a phase-I (NCT03444753) study that assessed the safety and tolerability of intra-tumoral BMS-986299 monotherapy (part 1A) and in combination (part 1B) with nivolumab, and ipilimumab in advanced solid tumors. Reported here are single-center results.

Cancer immunotherapy-including immune checkpoint inhibition (ICI) and adoptive cell therapy (ACT)-has become a standard, potentially curative treatment for a subset of advanced solid and liquid tumors. However, most patients with cancer do not benefit from the rapidly evolving improvements in the understanding of principal mechanisms determining cancer immune responsiveness (CIR); including patient-specific genetically determined and acquired factors, as well as intrinsic cancer cell biology. Though CIR is multifactorial, fundamental concepts are emerging that should be considered for the design of novel therapeutic strategies and related clinical studies.
