Cyclononatetraenyl (Cnt) is a nine-membered monoanionic aromatic ligand. Despite its early discovery in 1963, it has been rarely utilised in coordination chemistry, which is mainly due to its large diameter and easy skeletal rearrangement. Only in 2017, the first lanthanide Cnt complex was synthesised, marking the beginning of a new era in organolanthanide chemistry.

Although Pb-based metal halide perovskites (MHPs) have excellent photoelectric characteristics, their toxicity remains a limiting factor for their widespread application. In the paper, a series of CsCuClxBr3-x (x = 1, 2, 3) MHP microcrystals were developed and their hydrogen evolution performance in ethanol and HX (X = Cl, Br) was also studied. Among them, CsCuCl3 microcrystals exhibit high hydrogen evolution performance in both HX and ethanol, attributed to their longest average lifetime and suitable band structure.

We consider an analytically tractable model that exhibits the main features of the Page curve characterizing the evolution of entanglement entropy during evaporation of a black hole. Our model is a gas of noninteracting fermions on a lattice that is released from a box into the vacuum. More precisely, our Hamiltonian is a tight-binding model with a defect at the junction between the filled box and the vacuum.

Peptide stapling has emerged as a versatile approach in drug discovery to reinforce secondary structure elements especially α-helices and improve properties of linear bioactive peptides. Inspired by the prevalence of arginine in protein-protein and protein-DNA interfaces, we investigated guanidinium-stapling as a means to constrain helical peptides. Guanidinium stapling was readily achieved on solid support, utilizing two orthogonally protected lysine or unatural α-amino acid residues with an amino function.

Isolation of primary keratinocyte stem cells (KSCs) from neonatal mouse epidermis is essential for studying skin physiology and related disorders. Traditional methods often struggle to balance keratinocyte proliferation and differentiation, and although recent advancements using low-calcium culture conditions have improved these techniques, protocols remain scattered. This study presents a streamlined approach to expand mouse KSCs in low-calcium medium (<0.
