Background: Despite advancements in valve implantation devices, vascular access complications (VAC) remain a significant cause of morbidity and mortality for those undergoing transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR). We describe pre-operative imaging analysis of the aortoiliac and femoral arterial beds using the TransAtlantic intersociety consensus (TASC) score, ilio-femoral tortuosity, and procedural characteristics to identify anatomic risk factors predictive of VAC in TAVR.
Methods: Consecutive patients undergoing TAVR from 2012 to 2022 at a single North Dakota hospital were retrospectively reviewed.

Background: Territorial arterial spin labelling (t-ASL) could be an alternative method to digital subtraction angiography (DSA) when evaluating feeding arteries by previous reports, however, blood supply variations on meningioma prognosis remains unclear. In this study, the prognosis of meningiomas mainly supplied by the internal carotid artery (ICA) and external carotid artery (ECA) was compared, and relevant clinical factors were investigated.
Methods: t-ASL technique was employed to categorized pathologically-confirmed meningioma patients into the ICA, ECA, ICA co-supplied, and non-ICA co-supplied group.

Objective: Coral reef atherosclerosis of the visceral aorta (CRA) is associated with renovascular hypertension (RVH), chronic mesenteric ischaemia (CMI), and malperfusion of the lower limbs (PAD). The outcomes of open surgery for this rare disease are described in this paper.
Methods: This retrospective study included all patients who underwent open surgical repair of CRA at a single high volume referral centre between January 2009 and June 2023.

Introduction: Endovascular revascularisation (ER) is often used as first line treatment for chronic mesenteric ischaemia, with high technical success and a lower rate of peri-operative adverse events than open surgical repair. Distal embolisation following ER is a potentially life threatening complication with a high mortality rate.
Report: A 66 year old patient with a two year history of postprandial abdominal pain presented with two weeks of constant abdominal pain.
