Purpose:  Familial Mediterranean fever (FMF) is an autosomal recessive disorder characterized by recurrent episodes of fever and serositis, caused by mutations in the gene. Inflammatory pathways associated with FMF are linked to increased proinflammatory cytokines, which may be related to primary headaches, including migraine. Background: Migraine affects up to 40% of people with multiple sclerosis (PwMS). This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of the combination of antibodies (mAbs) against CGRP (anti-CGRP mAbs) with disease-modifying treatments (DMTs) for MS (mAb and non-mAbs) and their impact on MS disease course.

Methods: This retrospective, multicentric study included PwMS from 14 MS Centers, treated with an anti-CGRP mAb and a stable treatment with DMTs.

Neurocysticercosis, a central nervous system infection caused by the zoonotic parasite Taenia solium, is a leading cause of acquired epilepsy worldwide. It is common in areas with extensive pig farming and pork consumption. This report presents an unusual case of neurocysticercosis in a 28-year-old male from Timor-Leste, a region of nonendemicity for human cases of Taenia solium.

Purpose Of Review: Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) is a neuropathic pain disorder characterized by pain disproportionate to the inciting event that is constant for an extended duration. Numerous treatment options for this condition have been explored with unsatisfactory results in many cases. Ketamine, an N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) receptor antagonist typically used as an anesthetic and analgesic, presents a promising potential treatment for CRPS in patients who fail to respond to traditional therapies.
