Importance: Heart failure (HF) is often characterized by an insidious disease course leading to frequent rehospitalizations and a high use of ambulatory care. Remote cardiac monitoring is a promising approach to detect worsening HF early and intervene prior to an overt decompensation.
Observations: Recently, a multitude of novel technologies for remote cardiac monitoring (RCM) in patients with HF have been developed and are undergoing clinical trials. This development has been accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Conclusions And Relevance: This review summarizes the major clinical trials on RCM in patients with HF and present the most recent developments in noninvasive and invasive RCM technologies.

PROMs are integral to cardiovascular investigations as well as management, especially in chronic conditions and rehabilitation, where they inform on the impact of personalized care plans by tracking symptom progression and patient adherence.

Background: Among cardiovascular diseases, adult patients with congenital heart disease represent a population that has been continuously increasing, which is mainly due to improvement of the pathophysiological framing, including the development of surgical and reanimation techniques. However, approximately 20% of these patients will require surgery in adulthood and 40% of these cases will necessitate reintervention for residual defects or sequelae of childhood surgery. Purpose Of Review: The exposome refers to the total environmental exposures a person encounters throughout life, and its relationship with human health is increasingly studied. This non-systematic review focuses on recent research investigating the effects of environmental factors-such as air pollution, noise, greenspace, neighborhood walkability, and metallic pollutants-on atherosclerosis, a major cause of cardiovascular disease.
Recent Findings: Studies show that long-term exposure to airborne particulate matter can impair endothelial function and elevate adhesion molecule levels, leading to vascular damage.
