We present a case of Acute Angle-Closure Crisis (AACC) precipitated by primary transient psychogenic polydipsia; we believe that our case is the first of its kind to be reported. A 74-year-old male presented to the emergency department with altered mental status due to acute-onset hyponatremia. Six days after admission, the patient noticed painful loss of vision in his right eye and an ipsilateral headache lasting 10-15 minutes.

To analyze the refractive accuracy of a novel swept-source optical coherence biometer (SS-OCT), that uses individual refractive indices to measure axial length, in short and long eyes implanted with monofocal intraocular lenses (IOLs). This retrospective comparative study considered eyes with short axial length (AL) (< 22.5 mm) or long AL (> 26 mm) bilaterally implanted with the Acrysof IQ monofocal IOL.

A 65-year-old male patient presented to eye outpatient department of a zonal hospital in North Eastern India with complaints of diminution of vision for 1-year duration. On ocular examination, his unaided visual acuity was 6/36 right eye and 6/12 left eye. He was diagnosed as a case of immature senile cataract with nuclear sclerosis grade 2+ in the right eye and immature senile cataract with nuclear sclerosis grade 1+ in the left eye, with no other ocular or systemic findings.

Methods: A retrospective chart review was conducted on 45 patients who underwent transscleral suture fixation of a foldable one-piece PCIOL through scleral pockets. Preoperative data and follow-up data for a minimum of 12 months were collected for all patients.

This study aims to identify predisposing risk factors for post-DMEK ocular hypertension (OHT) and develop a preoperative predictive model for post-DMEK OHT.
Methods: Patients who underwent DMEK at Gangnam Severance Hospital between 2017 and 2024 were included in the study.
