Objectives: Comorbidity with other conditions is common in functional bowel disorders. We aimed to investigate the prescription patterns of commonly used drugs in patients with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and functional unspecific bowel disorder, compared to the general population.
Material And Methods: Prescriptions of commonly used drugs in 2022 were compared between patients and the general population from the same age group and region in Sweden.

Background: Patients undergoing general anesthesia are more frequently monitored for depth of anesthesia using processed electroencephalography. Opioid-free anesthesia is nowadays an accepted modality for general anesthesia, however it is unclear how to interpret data from processed electroencephalography when using a mixture of non-opioid anesthetic drugs. Our objective was to describe density spectral array patterns and compare processed encephalographic data indices between opioid-free and routine opioid based anesthesia.

Objectives: Minimally invasive surgery (MIS) has emerged as a promising alternative to conventional open techniques in the management of adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (AIS).
Materials And Methods: This study presents a case series of six patients who underwent MIS for AIS at a spine center, employing a synergistic blend of intraoperative fluoroscopy, cone-beam computed tomography scans, and three-dimensional navigation technology. The surgical procedures were meticulously guided, with a focus on ensuring safety and precision in posterior pedicle fixation.

Objectives: In this study, we aimed to compare the efficacy of two regional anesthesia methods, transversus abdominis plane (TAP) block and erector spinae plane (ESP) block, for intraoperative and postoperative pain relief in patients undergoing laparoscopic nephrectomy.
Methods: Fifty patients aged 18-80 years with American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) classification I-II scheduled for elective laparoscopic nephrectomy were included after ethical approval and informed consent. Patients were randomly assigned to either Group TAP (receiving TAP block) or Group ESP (receiving ESP block).
