Objective: To investigate the occurrence and development of gastric mucosal atrophic lesions and their histopathological characteristics.
Methods: Histopathological diagnosis and immunohistochemical staining using the EnVision two-step method were conducted on 1969 gastric mucosal atrophic lesions obtained from gastroscopic biopsy specimens. A total of 48-month three-stage endoscopic biopsy follow-ups were performed.

Background: Neuromuscular choristoma (NMC) is a rare peripheral nerve lesion that is composed of ectopic mature muscle fibers and nerve fascicles, typically involving major nerve roots or trunks, such as the cranial nerves, brachial plexus, and sciatic nerves. The onset of NMC frequently occurs in the first decade of life. Here, we present the first documented case of a case of esophageal NMC in an adult patient.

Objective: To develop a fiber Raman endoscopic probe that can be integrated in a gastroscope and evaluate its value in the diagnosis of gastric cancer.
Methods: The Raman spectra of gastric cancer tissues and normal tissues were obtained using the fiber Raman endoscopic probe and confocal microRaman spectroscopy. After preprocessing with smoothing, baseline elimination and normalization, the spectroscopic data were analyzed by the principle component analyses combined with stechiometry.
