Background And Aim: Lifestyle changes are associated with an increased incidence of stroke especially in young adults. The purpose of this study was to investigate the lifestyle of ischemic stroke cases under the age of 50 years.
Methods: This descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted on young adults with ischemic stroke who were admitted to some hospitals, Tehran, Iran between 2018 and 2019. Total lifestyle information collected in the form then was compared in males and females.
Results: Totally 11% ischemic stroke was under age 50 years. 60.7% of young adult patients were men. There was significant difference between body mass index (BMI) ( = 0.03), type of job ( = 0.04), physical activity ( = 0.02), fruit and vegetables consumption, and gender of patients ( = 0.02).

Background/objective: Physical literacy (PL) is "the motivation, confidence, physical competence, knowledge, and understanding to value and take responsibility for engagement in physical activities for life". Recent evidence has shown that PL was associated with mental wellbeing in different populations, yet a comprehensive review examining the association between PL and mental health among tertiary education students was lacking. The aims of this scoping review were to rapidly map relevant evidence on the relationships between perceived PL and mental health in higher education students and to determine the feasibility and value of conducting a full systematic review in this research area.

Background: In Burkina Faso, nearly half of the population is under 15 years old, and one in four adolescents experience depression. This underscores the critical need to enhance mental health literacy among adolescents and youth, empowering them to manage their mental well-being effectively. Comic books offer an engaging approach to health education, yet their effectiveness in addressing mental health remains largely untested.

Background: Functional Gastrointestinal Disorders (FGIDs) constitute a group of psychosomatic diseases characterized primarily by disruptions in the functioning of the digestive system, profoundly impacting the lives of affected individuals.
Objective: This study aims to investigate the influence of negative affect (NA) on the gastrointestinal symptoms of FGID patients, as well as the mediating role of rumination and the regulatory effects of expression suppression (ES) as an emotional regulation strategy.
Methods: A survey was conducted on 1000 patients (403M, 597F) with gastrointestinal disorders at a tertiary hospital using the negative affect subscale from the DS-14 (Type D Personality Scale), the Gastrointestinal Symptom Rating Scale (GSRS), the Rumination Response Scale (RRS), and the expression suppression subscale from the Gross-John Emotion Regulation Strategy.

Background: Endoscopic gallbladder-preserving cholecystolithotomy (EGPC) has become an alternative option for treating cholecystolithiasis. However, developing a new method of EGPC in which the gallbladder wall is not damaged remains a challenge. This study introduced a new EGPC method called endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) combined with extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL), which preserves the integrity of the gallbladder wall in the treatment of cholecystolithiasis complicated with choledocholithiasis.

Post-traumatic stress and major depressive disorders are associated with "overgeneral" autobiographical memory, or impaired recall of specific life events. Interpersonal trauma exposure, a risk factor for both conditions, may influence how symptomatic trauma-exposed (TE) individuals segment everyday events. The ability to parse experience into units (event segmentation) supports memory.
