»: The double crush hypothesis originally proposed that compression of a peripheral nerve at a proximal site increases its susceptibility to additional distal lesions.
»: The etiology of double crush syndrome is likely multifactorial as mechanical, systemic, pharmacologic, or environmental factors may increase a patient's susceptibility to this syndrome.
»: To date, there remains no standardized definition of double crush syndrome, and there is no consensus on its exact pathophysiology or diagnostic criteria.
»: Patients with double crush syndrome should be counseled that surgical repair may produce inferior outcomes compared with those who are treated for isolated entrapment neuropathies.

In order to study the effect of the crushing process on the fine separation of reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP) and the mechanical properties of cement-stabilised aggregate mixed with RAP, four crushing processes, namely small mesh hammer crushing, hammer crushing, jaw crushing, and double roller crushing, were used to separate the aggregate from asphalt in RAP materials. The effect of crushing on the grading characteristics and agglomeration condition of RAP material was investigated. RAP cement-stabilised aggregates were prepared and analysed for their mechanical properties and micro-morphology using RAP materials obtained from fine separation.

Herein, the study explores a composite modification approach to enhance the use of recycled concrete aggregate (RCA) in sustainable construction by combining accelerated carbonation (AC) and nano-silica immersion (NS). RCA, a major source of construction waste, faces challenges in achieving comparable properties to virgin aggregates. Nano-silica, a potent pozzolan, is added to fill micro-cracks and voids in RCA, improving its bonding and strength.

As a critical component of aero-engines, the processing quality of the blade has a significant impact on the engine's overall performance and service life. First, from the perspective of double abrasive grains, two finite element models-simultaneous and sequential scratches-are established. The interaction between the two abrasive grains affects not only the polishing force and chip formation but also the surface morphology of the processed workpiece.

Unlabelled: To date, the optimal therapeutic and diagnostic strategy in patients with simultaneous clinical manifestations of degenerative cervical spine disease and upper-extremity nerve compression is still unclear.
Objective: To analyze the results of simultaneous surgical interventions in patients with cervical radiculopathy combined with distal peripheral compression-induced ischemic neuropathy.
Material And Methods: We retrospectively studied postoperative outcomes in 23 patients with two-level degenerative cervical spine disease with radiculopathy and peripheral nerve compression (cubital canal, Guyon's canal or carpal tunnel syndromes).
