As we move toward an era in which there will be treatment options for geographic atrophy (GA) secondary to age-related macular degeneration, the need to accurately understand and interpret multimodal imaging (MMI) for the condition is paramount. This review discusses the evolution of MMI in GA and how it has led to a greater understanding of different phenotypes and risk factors for progression. These advancements have allowed novel imaging biomarkers to be used as end points in large interventional studies exploring new therapies for GA treatment.

Despite the increasing focus on intangible cultural heritage tourism, there is a lack of research on the ecological protection behaviors of tourists in these contexts. With UNESCO's continuous refinement of the World Heritage system, intangible cultural heritage has gradually become a focal point for tourism development and protection. While such tourism can promote the preservation and transmission of heritage, it also introduces ecological environmental issues that need to be addressed.

Contemporary connected things entail ongoing relations between producers, end users, and other actors characterized by ongoing updates and production of data about and through use. These relations are currently governed by Terms of Service (ToS) and related policy documents, which are known to be mostly ignored beyond the required interaction of ticking a box to indicate consent. This seems to be a symptom of failure to design for effectively mediating ongoing relations among multiple stakeholders involving multiple forms of value generation.

Introduction: In this report, we present a cardiac ultrasound training module for medical student learners. The module assists medical students in developing foundational skills in image acquisition, identification of normal cardiac ultrasound anatomy, and demonstration of professionalism when performing the associated OSCE exam.

Methods: We delivered the module across a 2-week cardiology rotation.
