Lymphaticovenular anastomosis (LVA) is the first-line surgical treatment for lymphedema. The therapeutic effects of LVA, including edema reduction and cellulitis prevention, vary among patients. We examined cases of palliative LVA in patients with lymphedema who were in the terminal stage due to recurrence or distant metastasis of the primary disease, with a focus on the course and usefulness of palliative LVA.

Conventional imaging techniques, while essential, occasionally fall short in identifying elusive metastatic lesions, leading to delayed diagnoses and compromised patient outcomes. Gallium-68 fibroblast activating protein inhibitor (Ga-FAPI) positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT), leveraging the distinct affinity of fibroblast activation protein for cancer-associated fibroblasts, emerges as a promising solution to bridge this diagnostic gap. Parotid gland adenocarcinoma is a relatively rare malignancy with metastasis typically occurring in regional lymph nodes and distant sites such as the lungs and bones.

Background: Patients with estrogen receptor (ER)-positive breast cancer (BC) can be treated with endocrine therapy targeting ER, however, metastatic recurrence occurs in 25% of the patients who have initially been treated. Secreted proteins from tumors play important roles in cancer metastasis but previous methods for isolating secretory proteins had limitations in identifying novel targets.
Methods: We applied an in situ secretory protein labeling technique using TurboID to analyze secretome from tamoxifen-resistant (TAMR) BC.

To date, pagetoid spread-the proliferation of pagetoid cells in intraepidermal lesions, as observed in secondary extramammary Paget's disease-has not been reported in squamous epithelium derived from the extension of head and neck carcinomas. Herein, we report a case of pagetoid squamous cell proliferation associated with a primary intraosseous carcinoma (PIOC) arising in the periapical lesion of the maxilla, a finding not reported previously. A 60-year-old man presented with prostate adenocarcinoma and bilateral pubic bone, ilium bone, and sacral bone metastases.

Introduction: Melanoma arising in blue nevus (BN) is usually evident on histopathology. However, there are cases in the gray zone where neither morphology nor immunostains and molecular studies are conclusive.
Case Report: A 33-year-old man presented with greenish discoloration of the abdominal skin at birth.
