Spectrum and the management of glanular-preputial adhesions after ritual male circumcision.

Background: Complications after male circumcision are numerous and may be presented as an adhesion between the glans penis and the preputial remnants, these adhesions may acquire different forms and troublesome the affected children.
Patients And Methods: This is a retrospective study of 95 consecutive children of presumed glanular-preputial adhesions referred for correction of circumcision. They were assessed and classified as having either an early preputial adhesion or a well-formed skin bridge into 2 groups; group (A) who have a simple adhesion that was resolved through a conservative preputial adhesiolysis while those in the group (B) had a well-formed skin bridge, which deserves surgical correction.

Introduction: In this review article, we aim to illustratively address abnormal and normal courses of Plastibell (a system designed to remove the correct amount of skin) circumcision. We searched 2 target databases, PubMed and Embase, for Plastibell ring circumcision and recruited photos from circumcised children with plasticbell rings. The ordinary postprocedure healing course may resemble abnormal situations such as infection and dehiscence.

Objective: To provide a comprehensive illustration of the newly introduced "topography-guided anatomical reassembly" approach, which has shown promising early results, and to report the midterm outcomes of an extended series.
Methods: This is a prospective cohort study of all patients presenting to the author's facility with distal penile hypospadias without chordee between June 2018 and January 2023. Redo cases, circumcised cases, and cases with non-preservable plates are excluded.

Unlabelled: In this study, we aimed to investigate the levels of Fibroblast Growth Factor-8 (FGF-8), FGF-10, FGF-Receptor-2 (FGFR-2), Androgen receptor (AR), Estrogen receptor alpha and beta (ER-α and ER-β) in the foreskins of children with and without hypospadias.
Methods: Samples from the foreskins of 20 children with hypospadias and 20 skin samples from children without hypospadias between the ages of 14 months and 12 years were taken during circumcision or hypospadias correction surgery for immunohistochemical (IHC) examination of these markers. Various techniques have been described for reconstructing the skin of the penile shaft; however, no universally accepted standard exists for correcting buried penis in adults. We aimed to describe a new technique for correcting an adult-acquired buried penis through a diamond-shaped incision at the penopubic junction. We retrospectively analyzed data from patients treated with our technique between March 2019 and June 2023 in the Department of Andrology, Nanjing Drum Tower Hospital (Nanjing, China).
