A public health perspective on hip-hop's response to the COVID-19 pandemic: Experiences of illness, spread of misinformation, and mobilization of resources.

• We give examples of how hip-hop artists are dealing with COVID-19-related deaths and experiences of illness. • We discuss the spread of misinformation in the community. We also argue that hip-hop can uniquely tackle misinformation. • We highlight some of the strategies that have been implemented for offering resources and support.
